Then it sends a second reminder on the actual date so you can send a text, make a call, or just show up. Every event card includes a one-tap Amazon gift link filtered by that person's interests and your chosen budget.

The second arrives on the actual day itself, so even if life got busy, you still have a chance to send a text or make a call. No app to check, no calendar to manage - the reminders come to you.
14 days lines up almost perfectly with standard Amazon shipping windows. Order something the day you get the reminder and it will arrive with time to spare. It is early enough to be useful and late enough that the event is still top of mind. The day-of reminder is a backup - a last chance to send a text, write a note, or make a call even if the gift ship sailed.
When you add someone, you enter a few of their interests - things like "hiking," "cooking," "cats," or "golf." When their date approaches, RecallDate generates an Amazon search pre-filtered for those specific interests at the price range you select ($25–$50, $50–$100, etc.). One tap and you're browsing relevant, thoughtful options - not generic last-minute filler. We earn a small affiliate commission from Amazon at no extra cost to you, which is one of the ways we keep the free plan free.
Yes, completely. We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. The names, dates, and interests you enter belong to you and are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Our revenue comes from paid plan subscriptions and Amazon affiliate commissions - neither of which requires monetizing your personal information.
The Starter plan is completely free for up to 25 people - no credit card required, no expiring trial. The Pro plan is $1.99/month and supports up to 25 people. The Unlimited plan is $4.99/month with no cap on people or dates. All paid plans can be cancelled anytime with no penalty.
Yes. RecallDate is a web app that works on any device with a browser - phone, tablet, or laptop. Your account syncs automatically across all of them, so you can add someone on your laptop and check upcoming events on your phone without missing a beat. No app store download required.
Go to the People tab inside the app. Tap any person's name to open their profile, where you can edit their dates, update their interests, or delete them entirely. Changes sync immediately across all your devices. Your data is never permanently removed without your explicit action.
Add the RecallDate sender address to your contacts or whitelist it in your email provider to guarantee delivery. In Gmail, open any RecallDate email, click the three-dot menu, and select "Filter messages like these" → "Never send to Spam." In Outlook, right-click the email and choose "Never block sender." If you're not receiving emails at all, check your spam folder first and reach out to our support email - we'll get it sorted.
